Install your content on your store

Once your store's connected and your content's ready, installing it is one click — Ollie pushes every article, collection page, and tool straight onto your Shopify store.

Once your content is ready and your store's connected, getting it live is one click. When you install, I push every article, collection page, and tool straight onto your Shopify store, where your customers can find them. Let me show you how, and what to check once it's done.

One thing worth knowing up front: anything you've been previewing isn't live yet. Installing is the moment your content goes public on your store — so it's the step that turns the work into real traffic.

Before you install

Two quick things to have in place:

  • Your store is connected. If it isn't yet, start with Connect your Shopify store — it takes a minute.
  • You've looked over your content. Everything is previewable first, so give it a read and make sure you're happy before it goes out.

The steps

  1. Open your Dashboard and find the Install section.
  2. Click Install Everything.
  3. I push all your articles, collection pages, and tools to your store. This takes a moment — you'll see the progress as it goes.
  4. When it's done, visit your store's blog to see your new content live.

Where your content shows up on your store

So you know where to look, here's where each piece lands:

  • Articles appear as posts on your Shopify blog.
  • Collection pages appear as new pages tied to the product groups they're about.
  • Your tool gets its own page that you can link to from anywhere on your site.

If something doesn't install

Now and then a piece won't go through on the first try — usually a brief hiccup between us and Shopify, not a problem with your content. Here's what to do:

  • Check the status in your dashboard. Anything that didn't install is flagged, with a Retry button right next to it.
  • Reconnect if you're prompted to. If Shopify has logged the app out, you'll see a reconnect nudge — one click and you're back.
  • Reach out if it stays stuck. Message me here, or email a real human at matt@runoctopus.com. I'll get it sorted with you.

After it's live

Your content is on your store and working for you now. From here, the best thing to do is let it run — Google needs a week or two to find your new pages, and I'll keep adding fresh content on your plan's schedule. You can watch how it's doing over time on your results page whenever you're curious.
