What happens to my content if I cancel?
Your published articles and collection pages stay on your store and keep working if you cancel. Ollie stops adding new content and powering your interactive tools.
If you cancel, here's the reassuring headline: your published articles and collection pages stay on your store and keep working. They're normal Shopify content, so they're yours to keep. What stops is the ongoing work I do — writing new content and watching your rankings — and your interactive tools, since I'm the one powering those.
Let me lay it out clearly, so there are no surprises either way.
What stays on your store
The content I've already published belongs to your store and stays put:
- Your articles remain as posts on your Shopify blog.
- Your collection pages stay live, working the same as before.
- Your rankings on that content don't reset — pages that were ranking keep ranking.
What stops
A few things wind down when you cancel:
- New content — the Drip stops adding fresh articles each month.
- Rank and AI tracking — I stop watching your positions and your AI mentions.
- Your interactive tools — because tools run through RunOctopus, they stop working when your plan ends. Your articles and pages don't rely on me this way; only the tools do.
Your content keeps ranking
This is the part worth holding onto: the content that was earning you traffic keeps earning it. Search doesn't forget your pages the day you cancel. What you lose is the momentum of new content compounding on top — but everything already working stays working.
Coming back later
If you ever change your mind, you're welcome back any time, and you can pick up where you left off. Your published content is still there, and I can start writing and tracking again the moment you resubscribe.
