Is there a free trial?

There's no classic free trial — you're paid from day one once you subscribe. What softens that is a free architecture preview (no card needed) that shows you what I'd build before you pay a cent, and the 90-Day Ollie Promise, a full refund of every dollar you've paid if the first 90 days don't feel like one of the best investments you've made in your store.

Short answer: no, there's no classic free trial where the clock runs out and you get charged automatically. You're paid from day one once you subscribe to a plan. But two things take the risk out of that for you: a free architecture preview before you ever pay a cent, and the 90-Day Ollie Promise — a full refund if the first 90 days don't earn their keep.

Here's the thinking behind it: a time-boxed trial cuts you off right around when SEO and AI-search results start to show up, which would be the worst possible moment to lose access. So instead of racing a clock, I show you the real thing for free before you commit, and I back your first 90 days with a real money-back promise once you do.

Before you pay anything: the free architecture preview

Connect your store — no card required — and I read it: your products, your collections, your voice, your niche. Then I show you exactly what I'd build for your store, grounded in what I found, not a generic demo. You get to see the real shape of the thing before you ever hand over payment details.

Once you subscribe

When you pick a plan that fits, that's when the real building starts: articles, collection pages, and tools get generated, installed on your store, and kept fresh by the Drip every month. Billing starts with that first payment — there's no separate trial clock running alongside it.

The 90-Day Ollie Promise

Every paid plan is backed by this: if, within 90 days of your first payment, you don't feel this has been one of the best investments you've made in your store, you can get a full refund of every subscription dollar you've paid so far. The 90-day window starts the day of that first charge.

How to get the refund: email hello@runoctopus.com before the end of day 90 of your first paid subscription. I'll refund everything you've paid, within 10 business days of getting your request.

What happens to the content I built: it stays. Every article, collection page, and tool that's live on your store when you request a refund stays live — I don't pull anything back down. It's yours to keep, edit, or remove, whatever you want.

Where this applies: the 90-Day Promise covers your first paid subscription per account or per store — it's not something you can use again on a resubscription after cancelling, or if you've already had a refund once before.

What I don't guarantee

I can't promise a specific ranking, traffic number, or revenue outcome — organic search depends on plenty that's outside anyone's control, including your competition, your store's existing authority, and how Google's algorithms shift. The 90-Day Promise stands behind the work and the accountability, not a guaranteed search result.
