Collection pages are richer pages I build around a group of products you sell — think "biltong gift boxes" or "running shoes for beginners." I write them to help that whole group get found in search, and to guide shoppers straight to the right products once they arrive.
Here's why they matter: your individual product pages don't always rank on their own. A well-written collection page targets the way people search for a category, catches that traffic, and funnels it toward what you sell.
What's on a collection page
A good collection page does more than list products. Each one I build has:
- A keyword-aware introduction that speaks to what someone searching for this category wants.
- Helpful context — buying tips, differences between options, the kind of thing a shopper wants to know before choosing.
- Links to your real products in that group, so the page moves people toward buying.
How I choose which collections to build
I look at two things together: the products in your catalog, and what people are searching for around them. Where those overlap — a group of products that matches real demand — that's a collection page worth building, so I start there.
How they help you get found and sell
Collection pages pull double duty. They rank for broad category searches that a single product page would miss, and once a visitor lands, the layout guides them from browsing toward a specific product. More of the right visitors, and a clearer path to buying.
Getting them onto your store
Like everything I build, your collection pages are yours to preview first. Read them over, make any changes, and then push them live when you're ready — see install your content for the steps.
Requesting a specific collection page
If there's a group of products you especially want a page for, don't wait for me to find it — ask me in chat. Tell me the collection you have in mind and I'll build a page for it and add it to your engine.
