What is Discoverability?

Discoverability is how easily Google and AI assistants can find your store, understand what you sell, and trust you enough to recommend it. It's the groundwork under everything else — the clearer your store is to search engines and AI, the more often you show up when someone's looking for what you sell.

Here's the logic behind it: before anything can recommend you, it has to be able to read your store and have a reason to trust it. Discoverability is that readable-and-trusted layer, and getting it right lifts you everywhere at once.

What Discoverability covers

It's a handful of signals that together tell a machine "this is a real, trustworthy store." Among them:

• A clear identity — who your business is, spelled out in a way both Google and AI can read.
• A real author behind your content, so your articles carry the weight of a named expert.
• A machine-readable summary of your store, so an AI can take in what you offer at a glance.
